Muskoka Wedding Ceremonies is committed to giving back to the communities that support us and to the wider world around us. As an organization we give back a portion of Muskoka Wedding Ceremonies fees collected. Our many wedding officiants also give back to their own communities both financially and with their time as volunteers.
We are contributors to International Justice Mission. They are a human rights organization that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery and oppression. A multi-national team of law enforcement professionals and a highly qualified legal staff conduct criminal investigations and collect evidence to rescue victims and bring perpetrators to justice.
We are a monthly supporter of The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is an independent, non-partisan research institute (Think tank) concerned with issues of social, economic and environmental justice. Founded in 1980, the CCPA is one of Canada's leading progressive voices in public policy debates.
We are active in and 'platinum' sponsers in the fund raising events of the local Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign as they seek to raise awareness and mobilize support in our community for Africa's grandmothers who are raising grandchildren who are aids orphans. There are 13 million such children at present. New members welcome.
We also make other smaller donations to small local fund raisers, school projects, students etc. In addition, our officiants contribute time and money to many groups and causes. We are grateful for the many ways they give back to their local communities.
